ErsinXP is a spare parts information tool from the new Service Division. In accordance with the databases installed, the tool provides extensive search functions for spare parts lists and/or product lists.
An update of the ErsinXP database takes place every 7 days. The current databases are at present available for downloading in the Internet/Intranet.
To display spare part pictures from ErsinXP please change the settings in the dialog File | Settings, register Pictures to:

Installation
To install ErsinXP start the program SetupDE.msi from your download directory and follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard. Depending on the configuration of your operating system it may be necessary to restart the computer. Before you can commence working with ErsinXP, it is necessary to update the database. To this end, please read the appropriate section.
ErsinXP can be used on the following operating systems with the currently available service packs:
Windows 2000 all versions
Windows XP all versions
The program and databases are to be found in the directory mentioned below:
C:\Program Files\Siemens Business Services\ErsinXP\4.1
Database update
To update the database start the appropriate self-extracting archive from your download directory and select the destination directory for your ErsinXP program directory. For a local installation this should have the following path:
C:\Program Files\Siemens Business Services\ErsinXP\4.1
